More and more green each day.  All fairways and tees are showing good Bermuda grass movement and will soon be ready for the mowing.  In addition to mowing, rolling fairways to promote a smoother surface will begin next week. Our weekly fertilizer program and continuous watering cycles should give us full grass coverage over the next couple of months.

On Wednesday, all fairways were sprigged with Celebration Bermuda grass.  This process took about 9 hours to complete.  Now that all surfaces have been planted we are officially in grow-in mode.  Irrigation will be run throughout each day for the next several weeks so that the grass can get established as quick as possible.

After heavy rains on Friday and Saturday more final grading was done to get fairways and tees ready for grassing.  On Tuesday, all tees and approaches were grassed with Celebration Bermuda grass.  After hand shaking tees, sprigs were cut in to get soil contact.

Steady progress is being made each day.  More tilling and laser leveling has taken place over the past few days.  Final grade on fairways is being made on Friday and will continue over this weekend ... weather permitting.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Barbaron made significant process on our tee and fairway renovation.  Work was done on holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.  More tilling on fairways and tees as well as laser leveling tees was accomplished.  Because of the progress made over the past two days, our goal of starting to grass next Monday is on schedule.

On Monday, our construction company (Barbaron) started tilling all tees and fairways.  In addition, all tees will be laser leveled to give us the most available teeing space on each tee.  This will be most noticeable on par 3 tees where "crowning" has developed over the past several years.

Last week we started stripping tees in preparation for tilling and laser leveling. We anticipate this process taking 3 to 4 days to complete.
